Jerusalem – Pal Sports Agency - On the grassy play grounds of Capital Club in Jerusalem, the Christmas Sports Week was launched recently by Al Quds Capital Club and Pal Sport Agency & Network, under sponsorship of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC), who presented gifts to the participating players from young age groups.
On his part, Mr. Firas Abu Mayaleh confirmed that the Christmas Sports Week is an annual tradition organized by the Capital Club, Palestinian Academy for Gifted Athletes and Pal Sport Network since 2010 in conjunction with the celebrations of Christmas through organizing sportive, cultural and community activities; where the Week was launched on Friday morning on Capital Club grassy court with football tournament for “male” juniors, while a similar tournament for females would be held a few days later.
Editor-in-chief of Pal Sport Network and Agency, Mr. Wessam al-Bukhari, expressed his pride in maintaining Al Quds annual tradition, which aims at sustaining Al Quds sports movement of young groups, and producing a time of joy to kids during Christmas days by NBC distributing gifts. Mr. al-Bukhari addressed his thankfulness to NBC and its General Manager, Mr. Imad al-Hindi, and Mr. Alaa Esawi, Technical Department and Public Relations Coordinator at NBC, for all presented thereby on continuous basis, further to partnership between NBC and Pal Sport Network, which began over twenty years ago.
Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of NBC, commended Al Quds movement, expressing his pleasure and pride for this achievement that coincides with glorious Christmas celebrations, especially in the city of Peace "Al Quds". He emphasized that the interest in such young groups is a great Palestinian achievement and tributary for our national teams. Mr. al-Hindi added that NBC is committed with support and welfare of Al Quds institutions; addressing his greetings to Christian denominations at Al Quds and Palestine that celebrates glorious Christmas holidays.
Mr. al-Hindi called to make use of all capabilities in order to support sports and clubs in Al Quds city, to include both youth genders, guiding them towards proper sport life, in the light of special circumstances currently faced by Al Quds, aiming to create appropriate ground to grasp and embrace youth skills within hard economic and social circumstances.
