National Beverage Company donates computers to Dura Governmental Hospital




 

 

The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) supplied Dura Governmental Hospital in the Governorate of Hebron with computers, in order to help the Hospital to provide better and more effective services to patients, and to contribute to supporting the Hospital by providing it with the necessary equipment and appliances to provide distinguished medical services to citizens.

Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC), said, “This support we provided to Dura Governmental Hospital is a continuation of the Company’s commitment to performing its role in supporting the health sector and health care institutions in Palestine.” He indicated that such support will contribute to the development of the hospital’s operation and facilitate its work to perform the required tasks and provision of its services.

Mr. Imad al-Hindi stressed that such contribution by NBC was made as part of the Company’s contributions to the health sector over the past years, in an effort to help providing the best possible health care to citizens, and to generally support the Palestinian health sector.  He pointed out that the Company has endeavored since its inception to place the health sector a top priority, as the Company has sponsored several health events and initiatives, reformed departments in a number of hospitals, as well as donated medical apparatus and equipment and furnished health care centers.

 

 

On his part, Dr. Muhammad Rabie, Director General of Dura Governmental  Hospital, thanked NBC for its cooperation and contribution to improving the health services provided to patients at Dura Public Hospital. He confirmed that the supply of computers will contribute to organizing the work of the hospital and providing services in a professional and advanced manner.

Dr. Rabie added, “The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy is one of the national companies that has a rich history of humanitarian assistance and community initiatives. He explained that cohesion with private sector institutions ensures the empowerment of health services and promotion of contributions that would improve the health service making it available to all segments of the society.

It is noteworthy that the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy has worked since its inception to support the health sector, medical efforts and health care provided to citizens.   The Company helped establishing eleven children’s libraries in Palestinian hospitals and children care societies throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip.  NBC rehabilitated the hematology department at Al-Mutala Hospital in the city of Jerusalem, donated an ambulance and medical supplies to support humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza, furnished and supplied the necessary medical equipment to a number of health centers, as well as many other support initiatives.
