National Beverage Company  signs an agreement to sponsor the Girls' Basketball Team of Burj Al-Luqluq Society




 

The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) signed an agreement to sponsor the Women's Basketball Team of the Burj Al-Luqluq Society. The signing event took place at the Company's headquarters in the presence of the General Manager of NBC, Mr. Imad al-Hindi and the Vice President of the Burj Al-Luqluq Society, Mr. Ziyad Al-Zaghair.

Regarding this agreement, Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy, said, "Our sponsorship of the Girls' Basketball Team of the Burj Al-Luqluq Society is a continuation of the Company's constant role in supporting the sports sector in Palestine and helping it reach high positions and ranks locally, regionally and globally." "The Palestinian sports clubs and teams deserve our support and encouragement for their efforts and attempts to achieve advanced sports ranks, as we can witness during the last period that our sports teams have managed to realize many achievements in the various sports."

Mr. al-Hindi stressed that the sports sector in Palestine still needs more support, attention and development at all levels, specifically the women’s sports sector.  He explained that “although women’s sports have managed to make their way towards development and prosperity compared to the past decades, they still require more attention from us, especially since women's sports carry many messages that express the role, importance, right and status of Palestinian women in life in general, and in the sports sector in particular.”

On his part, Mr. Ziyad Al-Zaghair, Vice President of the Burj Al-Luqluq Society, appreciated the cooperation of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy and its sponsorship of the Society's Women's Basketball Team.  He confirmed that the sponsorship will contribute to encouraging the team to continue its training and provide the best.  He praised NBC, which plays an important role in the sportive activities, and strongly contributes to enhancing the national sports scene and upgrading it as a model for corporate performance.

 

Mr. al-Zaghair added that “we, in Burj Al-Luqluq Society, through our location in the Old City of Jerusalem, are working to improve the psychological, social and intellectual conditions of children, youth and women, by providing various services such as a nursery, a sports club, psychological and educational support programs, programs for women and people with disabilities, in addition to first aid services. .
