National Beverage Company and Al-Bireh Cultural Club signed an Agreement for sponsoring the Female's Fencing Team




 

Ramallah – The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) signed a Sponsorship Agreement with Al-Bireh Cultural Club, under which NBC will sponsor the Female's Fencing Team. The Agreement was signed in the presence of Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of NBC, Mr. Dawood Metwali, President of Al Bireh Cultural Club and Mr. Ayman Subeih, Member of the Club Management Board.

Mr. al-Hindi stated: "NBC is keen to support young athletic talents in order to help them in accomplishing achievements, especially individual sports like Fencing that can be excelled and quantitative achievements can be accomplished therein".

Mr. al-Hindi indicated that this cooperation is not the first with Al-Bireh Cultural Club, however, is an ongoing cooperation reflected positively on athletic level generally and fencing sport in particular.

On other hand, Mr. al-Hindi stated that supporting young female athletes will enhance presence of Palestinian women in sport fields, showing ability thereof in competing and participating in local championships and international events. Mr. al-Hindi emphasized that Palestinian youth had achieved many participations and contributed in presenting strong athletic messages to the world about Palestinian athletes' capabilities.

 Mr. Metwali expressed his pride with continuation of partnership with National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/ Cappy; indicating that Club is keen to invest in young talents and to work on providing them with required potentials, even with various challenges facing Palestinian teams and players; with the need for doubled efforts to support Palestinian woman and enhance her presence in Palestinian athletic ground.

Mr. Metwali pointed out that Palestinian sport succeeded over the past years to win many prizes and medals at Arab level in fencing sport; indicating that supporting women in general and youth in particular will enhance and strengthen Palestinian presence in athletic forums.
