National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy and Saryyet Ramallah Sign Sponsorship Agreement
The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) and the First Ramallah Group (Saryyet Ramallah) signed a one-year sponsorship agreement. The agreement was signed at NBC’s headquarters in Beitunia in the presence of Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of NBC, Khaled Elayan, Executive Director of the Saryyet Ramallah, Jad Qandah, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Nadia Musleh, Board Member, and Alaa Esawi, Technical Coordinator at NBC.
During the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Mr. Imad al-Hindi stated that “the partnership with the Saryyet Ramallah has extended over years and is a long-term cooperation that NBC management is proud of. The Saryyet has attained a number of achievements on ground and is a cultural, athletic and social incubator for the youth and children in the city of Ramallah.”
Mr. al-Hindi thanked the management of Saryyet for its continuous efforts to develop the place and sports clubs affiliated to the Saryyet of various categories, hoping that the sponsorship of NBC will cover part of the costs of this development, which is aimed at constantly encouraging young people of both genders, in addition to different age groups, to practice several types of sports, arts, community and scouting activities.
Mr. al-Hindi stressed on NBC's continued interest in supporting the Saryyet's sports teams, pointing out that NBC management is proud of the care it has given to the women’s football team for eight consecutive years in order to encourage Palestinian women's sport. The team's players have firmly proven their capability and eligibility by achieving the best results at the level of Women’s Football League.
On his part, Khaled Elayan thanked the management of the National Beverage Company for its continuous sponsorship and renewed partnership with the Saryyet. He confirmed that such cooperation and support by NBC has constituted a strong incentive for the management of Saryyet and its sports teams to continue their progress. He also confirmed the importance of support by the private sector for the youth and children.
