National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy shares Ramadan Iftars with more than 500 orphan children in the West Bank and Gaza




Ramallah- Alhayat Economy- the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) sponsored a number of Ramadan Iftar banquets for the orphan children during the Holy month of Ramadan in cooperation with five charity associations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip out of its commitment to the principles of social solidarity among the Palestinian people, especially during the Holy month.
 
A number of managers and employees of NBC shared the Iftar banquets with 570 orphan children, including 140 children from Al-Esraa Charitable Association for the Orphans and Needy Care at Jericho, 150 children from Hassad El-Kheir Association for Orphans Care and the Mercy Association for Children at Gaza Strip, 130 children from Future Generation School for Orphans affiliated to the Zakat Committee at the city of Nablus, and 150 children from the Islamic Charitable Society, Al-Sheyoukh Branch- Al-Sheyoukh Charitable House for Male and Female Orphans. Further, NBC employees presented packages of special gifts for the children.
 
Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of NBC, affirmed that NBC organizes annual Ramadan iftars out of its commitment to embrace the orphan children and continue its initiatives aiming at instilling the spirit of hope and happiness in their lives as well as alleviate the pain of loss which they live. He added that NBC Management is pleased to create an atmosphere of family affinity and intimacy during the Ramadan iftar banquets, especially with the Palestinian children.
 
Mr. al-Hindi indicated the permanent attention of NBC to help the less-privileged children in the Palestinian society and contribute to strengthen the bonds of mercy and affection among the members of the society. He emphasized that NBC is committed to its social responsibility towards those children and to continue such charitable approach every Ramadan which translates the principles of our upright religion as well as the ethics and traditions of the Palestinian people.
 
He added that NBC will continue working to open the doors of hope and happiness for the orphans and children in the marginalized and remote areas all year. Mr. al-Hindi thanked the managers of the charitable associations which cooperated with NBC to provide the iftars. He pointed out the important role performed by such associations and societies which embrace the orphans to draw a better future for them, to embrace them in family and joyful atmospheres, and to provide them with the educational, pedagogic, and humanitarian services which contribute to building their personalities and widening their perception toward a better life in the future.
 

 

In turn, the managers and representatives of the associations attending the iftar banquets thanked NBC Management and General Manager for the efforts exerted to please the orphan children at the orphanages and charitable associations nationwide. They emphasized the importance of such nice gestures made by the private companies which will in turn contribute to enabling such institutions and associations to continue providing their services to the orphan children.
