National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy sponsors the Football Academy of Albireh Youth Foundation

Ramallah - The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy signed an agreement to sponsor the Football Academy of Albireh Youth Foundation. The agreement was signed by Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy, and Omar Atta, President of Albireh Youth Foundation Club, in the presence of Gamal Nesr, Secretary of Albireh Youth Foundation, Alaa Saleh, CEO of Albireh Youth Foundation, and Alaa El-Esawi, from the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy. The Football Academy targets the new football talents in the age group 8-14 years of males and females. The Academy seeks refining players' talents and empowering them to reach a professional level based on scientific and fully considered foundations.

Mr. al-Hindi pointed out that NBC is keen to provide the opportunities for new groups to demonstrate their talents, especially amid the poor attention dedicated to the youth groups. "There is nothing better than building a community where the sports culture prevails, which is one of the most important potentials required to ensure a physically and mentally healthy lifestyle, in addition to a community where the spirit of competition and teamwork prevails. Therefore, we sponsor the Football Academy of Albireh Youth Foundation, out of our commitment to build such type of communities by targeting the youth generation that constitutes the pillars of building healthy, athletic, and strong communities," Mr. al-Hindi added.

Mr. al-Hindi expressed pride for having a football school in Palestine that gives equal opportunities to both genders to receive training and fulfill their dream of playing football.
"We are pleased to see that one of the Academy's objectives is to include as many female players as possible, which is consistent with our vision contributing to include females in the sports sector, and boosting the competitive edge, where NBC seeks to expand the turnout of the Palestinian girls to play sports of different types and to establish their presence as professional players, as well as to enable them to compete on the local, Arab, and global levels like the male players", continued Mr. al-Hindi.

On his part, Omar Atta pointed out: "the Football Academy of Albireh Youth Foundation opens its doors to all the Palestinian talents with no exceptions, as it aspires to fulfill the ambitions of the youth and to refine their skills, toward boosting the sports sector in Palestine. Atta affirmed that the Academy cannot go on in its path toward its objectives without the adequate support of the competent authorities. He extended thanks to NBC for sponsoring the Academy, noting that the experience with Coca-Cola is the second of its kind, where the NBC has earlier sponsored young teams that won major football championships and achievements at the national level.
