National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy renews its sponsorship for First Sareyyet Ramallah Female Football Team




Ramallah- Alhayyat Sport - The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) renewed its sponsorship for the First Sareyyet Ramallah Female Football Team for the sixth consecutive year. NBC General Manager, Mr. Imad al Hindi and the Deputy Chairman of First Sareyyet Ramallah, Mr. Jad Kandah signed the agreement in the presence of Alaa Esawi of NBC, Khalid Elyyan, Manager of the Sareyyet, at the new headquarters of NBC in Betonya, south Ramallah.
 
Mr. al-Hindi confirmed that NBC is keen to continue to support Sareyyet Ramallah Female Football Team, which has proved its presence on the Palestine sports arena, achieved accomplishments at the national level and participated in honorable competitions at the international level. He added that our commitment stems from our support to women's sports in order to establish its position on the Palestinian sports map. This comes within the framework of our sports supporting projects in Palestine, since our country is full of sports talents that need our encouragement and support.
 
Mr. al-Hindi extended thanks to the First Sareyyet Ramallah Management Board for paying attention to the sports development of both youth and grassroots categories. He also commended the role of the team’s technical and administrative staff, pointing out the tangible development of the team's performance at the national level. Mr. al-Hindi expressed his pride in the players’ performance, which indicates that the team will be able to achieve good results at the regional and international levels.
 
Mr. al-Hindi also confirmed that the company was looking forward to work in full partnership with all institutions and stakeholders in order to establish the Palestinian sports culture and encourage it to help the Palestinian sportswomen to reach the international level since Palestine embraces plentiful of women talents added to the passion for sports among girls and young women, which requires motivating those talents and sponsoring them and providing all resources and capabilities.  
 
On his part, Mr. Kandah commended NBC constant support to Sareyyet Ramallah in general, and First Sareyyet Ramallah Female Football Team in particular,  which helped the First Sareyyet Ramallah to support the team through the provision of sports supplies, equipment and uniforms to Sareyyet Female Football Team.  This has contributed to the development of the team players’ capabilities and to obtain advanced positions in national championships, as the team won the Palestine Championship and the Palestinian Football Association Cup for more than one year. The most recent win was the last year. The team also participated in regional and international tournaments, including Jordan, France and Norway.

 

Mr. Kandah expressed his pride in this constant partnership that reflects the Company's appreciation of women's sports sector in Palestine; also it promotes the concept and the importance of partnership between private and non-governmental sectors. He called on all official and private institutions to exert more efforts and offer more resources to support women's sports, since Palestine has distinctive women’s sports capabilities that need support and follow-up. They can attain achievements at the international level.
