In support of the Jerusalemite Football Club, National Beverage Company  and Hilal Al-Quds Club Signs a Cooperation Agreement




 

 

The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) signed a cooperation agreement with Hilal Al-Quds Club, whereby NBC will support the Hilal Al-Quds Club’s football academy. Under the project, Hilal Al-Quds Club will look after hundreds of Jerusalemite children. The agreement was signed at NBC headquarter at Ramallah in the presence of Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of NBC, Mr. Diaa Shwikie, lawyer and President of Hilal Al-Quds Club, Mr. Dhiab Qersh, member of the board of directors of Hilal Al-Quds Club, Mr. Hossam Abu Snynh, administrator at Hilal Al-Quds Club, and Mr. Othman Al Shoaibi‏, manager of Hilal Al-Quds Club media center.

Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of NBC, said: “our support of Hilal Al-Quds Club is part of implementing our strategy supporting the youth and advancing the sports sector in Palestine, and in Jerusalem in particular, wherein Hilal Al-Quds Club is considered an important sports establishment”. He added that NBC believes that its social responsibility requires providing the supplies and fostering an environment that nurtures the Palestinian talents.

Mr. al-Hindi noted that NBC takes pride in its partnership with Hilal Al-Quds Club, which makes every effort in Jerusalem to develop the junior players, and enrich the Palestinian sports with young talents. He commended the efforts of this leading club to look after the Jerusalemite children through many sports projects that have become the destination of the junior players in Jerusalem.

Mr. Diaa Shwikie, Lawyer and President of Hilal Al-Quds Club, expressed his pride of the robust partnership with NBC, noting that this is not the first cooperation with NBC, and he hoped that the partnership will continue and grow in the future. Mr. Shwikie announced that the Jerusalemite club is striving all the time to develop projects to look after the Jerusalemite children, and to put all the necessary efforts to build the capacities of the Palestinian children in Jerusalem in the sports field, and in football in particular.

Mr. Shwikie pointed out that Hilal Al-Quds Club fosters around 3000 Jerusalemite children every month, and he noted that it is important that all entities join forces to reinforce the sports sector in Jerusalem, and satisfy the necessary needs to advance the sports in Jerusalem and solidify its position, especially that Hilal Al-Quds Club has managed to leave a strong mark in the sports, social, and cultural field in Jerusalem.
