Ghannam, Mayor of Beitunia and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ramallah to visit National Beverage Company

Ramallah- “Alayyam”: Mrs. Laila Ghannam, Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Mr. Deyaa Kart, Mayor of Beitunia, and Mr. Abdul Ghani Al-Atari, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, and a number of the members of the Chamber visited the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) yesterday in its headquarters in Beitunia to check the business process and support the efforts of the Palestinian companies towards promoting the economy.

The visitors met with Mrs. Dina Al-Masri, Chairwoman of NBC, and Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of NBC.

Ghannam said that the partnership with the private sector is vital as it benefits the Palestinian people from the economic and social aspects. The private sector plays a significant role as it provides employment, boosts the production, and supports the national economy.

In turn, Mr. al-Hindi commended Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate for its efforts following up, facilitating, and supporting the economic and industrial activity recently amidst the coronavirus outbreak and its repercussions.

Mr. al-Hindi considers that the partnership between the private sector and the governorate would enhance the benefits to the society, reinforce the steps made to promote the national economy and enhance its invulnerability. He noted that the visit asserts the integrative role with the governorate. Mr. al-Hindi pointed out NBC’s commitment to invest in the human resources in the Company, and to develop them and provide them with the necessary skills to support and advance the production process continuously.

NBC was founded in 1998, and it has around 850 employees in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. NBC covers the governorates across the West Bank and Gaza Strip with soft drinks in accordance with the highest international quality standards. NBC operates five factories in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in addition to seven branches dedicated to distributing its products.
