Within the Context of Supporting Sport Clubs, NBC Sponsors Salfit Basketball Team




 

Beitunia – Alayyam: The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) announced its sponsorship for the basketball team of Salfit Sport Club.  The sponsorship will include providing the team with sportswear, bearing the logo of Sprite soft drink.

 

Mr. Imad al-Hindi, the General Manager of NBC, affirmed that the Company’s support to basketball team of Salfit Club, in particular, and sponsoring various sport clubs and teams throughout the country in general, are translation of the Company’s vision and commitment towards sports and youth sector in Palestine.

 

Mr. al-Hindi added that “our responsibility as a company obligates us to pay attention to the sports sector, in order to discover, highlight and develop Palestinian talents, which would enable us to overcome all challenges and obstacles the sport sector faces in Palestine.

 

Mr. al-Hindi expressed great pride in supporting the basketball team of Salfit Club, hoping that NBC’s sponsorship would help enabling the team to realize their hopes and aspirations in front of other sports teams and to take part in competitions locally, internationally and at the level of Arab states.

 

Mr. al-Hindi pointed out that various sport clubs need backing and support under the current circumstances. This is due to the impact of Covid19 pandemic which financially overburdened the clubs.   He calls the private sector institutions to take the initiative and stand by these clubs, so they would be able to continue their functions and implement their events and activities in the proper manner.

 

On its part, the club management, represented by its Chair Issa Abdul Jawad, commended the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy’s initiative in supporting the basketball team of Salfit Club under the difficult financial conditions experienced by sport clubs in the various governorates throughout the country. He expressed his sincere thanks to NBC represented by its General  Manager, Mr. Imad al-Hindi, who spared no effort in supporting and backing the team.
