National Beverage Company to provide bus shelters for Bait Leed

Tulkarm- “Alayyam”- The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) supported the building of bus shelters at Bait Leed town located east of Tulkarm city, in cooperation with the municipality, to provide dedicated shelters for the people who wait at the bus stations in the hot weather. The shelters have been built at the village main entrance, and the entrance leading to Al-Kafriyat region.

Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of NBC, said that NBC continuously strives to support the municipalities and the local councils across the governorates with exigencies that benefit the people, amidst the tough economic conditions.

Mr. al-Hindi pointed out that the project serves several groups, in particular the school students, on the road connecting Nablus and Tulkarm cities with Al-Kafriyat region, and this project is especially useful during the hot climate and high temperature during the summer, and due to the need for properly equipped waiting areas. He asserted that NBC caters for the peoples’ needs in its projects.

Mr. al-Hindi emphasized NBC’s commitment to expand the geographical area covered by its community contributions to achieve the maximum benefit possible across different regions and areas. He expressed his happiness to cooperate with Bait Leed municipal council to complete this project.

Raeda Atout, Mayor of Bait Leed, appreciated the support presented by NBC by providing bus shelters in the village. Atout noted that this cooperation would open horizons to cooperate in implementing joint projects in the village in the future to benefit the village and the people.

NBC continuously works on enhancing the cooperation with the local authorities, and the civil society organizations out of its vision and community contributions as part of its social responsibility. NBC has been providing many bus stations and shelters in several towns and schools, in addition to supporting the initiatives and projects intended to ease the citizens' burdens across the governorates.
