National Beverages Company Coca-Cola/Cappy
has successfully completed the Back-to-School campaign for the new academic
year 2023-2024. The campaign covered the West Bank and Gaza Strip, distributing
6,000 school bags in collaboration with various charitable associations and
private institutions caring for sick and orphaned children.

annually targets sick children and less fortunate groups with the
Back-to-School campaign, recognizing its significant impact on sick children
and orphans, encouraging them to pursue education. This year, 3,000 school bags
were distributed in cooperation with institutions and charitable associations
in the West Bank, and 3,000 bags were provided for sick and orphaned students
in the Gaza Strip.
Mr. Imad Al-Hindi, General
Manager of National Beverages Company Coca-Cola/Cappy, stated, "The
company renews its commitment with the beginning of the school year to stand by
sick children, orphans, and children from less fortunate families, sending them
a message that we support them in their educational journey." He emphasized
the company's dedication to this annual project, underscoring its importance in
supporting the children of our nation who face challenging circumstances in
various governorates.
Al-Hindi noted that the company
collaborated with various charitable associations and institutions concerned
with sick children, such as cancer and thalassemia patients, in different
governorates. The company provided thousands of fully-equipped school bags as
gifts for children at the start of the school year.
Mrs. Seham Badran, the Head of
the Friends of Thalassemia Patients Association in the northern West Bank,
expressed her gratitude to National Beverages Company Coca-Cola/Cappy for the
campaign. She explained that the campaign plays a vital role in alleviating the
difficulties faced by sick children, offering them the smiles they deserve in
the face of their illnesses. Campaigns like this contribute to providing
psychological support for children.
Mr. Sami Al-Joujou, General
Manager of Smile of Hope Charity for Cancer Patients, also expressed his
appreciation for this campaign. He stated that the children of Gaza are in dire
need of such campaigns, which help alleviate the hardships they face,
especially the sick among them. He emphasized that the campaign reached various
governorates in Gaza, aiming to reach the largest number of children and expand
the beneficiaries of the campaign at the start of the school year.
