The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy has been awarded the Silver "TEXA" Award for the year 2022






The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy secured the second place in the new Technical Execution Excellence Award (TEXA) for its Ramallah plant. This award, introduced by the Coca-Cola company in 2022, recognizes the company's achievement in sustainability and technical execution excellence within the packaging industry.


It particularly focuses on the smooth supply of goods to markets, enhancing quality, food safety, occupational safety, and environmental protection. The company won the silver award for the Middle East and Eurasia region. Over 45 plants within the Coca-Cola company in the Middle East and Eurasia participated in this competition.


Imad Al-Hindi, the General Manager of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy expressed his pride in the company's achievement of this new award, emphasizing it as the result of continuous collective effort over the years. He stated, "The National Beverage Company, which began its journey in 1998 with the Coca-Cola Ramallah plant employing 47 employees, has grown into a large family today, comprising more than 850 individuals and five factories across various regions, including over 145 employees in the Ramallah plant." Al-Hindi stressed the company's commitment to adhering to the highest global standards in product storage to ensure safety and quality within its plants, storage facilities, and retail outlets in the Palestinian market.


Al-Hindi indicated that the company strives to provide the market with freshly produced goods, ensuring they are up-to-date upon reaching the market. The company also emphasizes producing in accordance with the highest global standards, utilizing the latest technologies under the supervision of trained and specialized teams. He highlighted the company's dedication to being environmentally friendly, producing around 10% of its energy needs from renewable sources, primarily solar panels, with plans to increase this percentage in the future.


Al-Hindi explained that the company has promoted environmentally friendly projects within its factories, successfully reducing emissions, and minimizing water usage by treating it with state-of-the-art technologies to meet international agricultural standards. The company also ensures the safety of its workforce by implementing the latest occupational safety systems, guaranteeing the safety of the team responsible for producing and delivering Coca-Cola products to the markets and placing them in the hands of consumers.


The company has received several awards in the areas of quality, occupational safety, and environmental protection in recent years, including the Coca-Cola Gold Award for Eurasia and the Middle East in the value addition and environmental protection category, along with energy reduction.
