National Beverage Company Concludes “Back-to-School 2026” Campaign with the Distribution of More Than 5,500 School Bags

Ramallah – National Beverage Company (NBC) has concluded its annual “Back-to-School 2026” campaign, which aims to support Palestinian students and families, with the distribution of more than 5,500 school bags in cooperation with over 95 charitable, civil society, and community organizations across the West Bank governorates.

The campaign targeted students from low-income and vulnerable families, as well as children with illnesses, disabilities, and special needs. Through its partner organizations and associations, which work directly with these groups, the campaign helped ensure that school bags reached students who are most in need.

Imad Al-Hindi, General Manager of National Beverage Company, said that the “Back-to-School” campaign reflects the company’s belief that supporting education and investing in children represents a genuine investment in the future of Palestinian society. He stressed that providing essential school supplies to students in need helps alleviate part of the financial burden on their families and gives children the opportunity to start the new academic year under better circumstances.

Al-Hindi noted that this year’s campaign comes amid the difficult and exceptional economic conditions facing Palestinian families, at a time when rising living costs and prices of essential goods, coupled with declining purchasing power, are placing additional pressure on many households. These challenges are particularly evident at the beginning of the school year, when families face additional expenses related to school bags, stationery, clothing, and other educational necessities.

Al-Hindi added: “At National Beverage Company, we believe that our responsibility towards our community goes beyond our business operations. It extends to standing alongside those who are most in need, particularly children and students. Through the Back-to-School campaign, we seek to help ease part of the burden on families and support children in starting their school year with greater joy and confidence.”

Al-Hindi explained that this year’s campaign expanded its reach through cooperation with more than 95 organizations and associations across the West Bank, enabling the company to reach thousands of students in different areas and segments of society and helping ensure that support reached those most in need.

He reaffirmed that education remains one of the company’s key areas of focus within its corporate social responsibility programs, as it represents a foundation for building a better future for Palestinian children and society. He also emphasized the importance of concerted efforts by the private sector, civil society organizations, and community institutions to support Palestinian students and families, particularly amid the current economic challenges.

The company also expressed its appreciation for the role of its partner organizations and associations in the success of the campaign, recognizing their essential contribution in identifying the students and families most in need and reaching them across different governorates. The company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that create a positive and sustainable impact on Palestinian society.

The “Back-to-School” campaign is part of the corporate social responsibility programs implemented by National Beverage Company throughout the year, with a particular focus on supporting education and children, empowering disadvantaged groups, and strengthening community solidarity. The campaign reflects the company’s belief in the role of the private sector in serving the community and contributing to a better future for generations to come.
