National Beverage Company restores a kindergarten park in Nablus

Nablus- The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) sponsored the restoration of the kindergarten park of the Mother Guidance & Child Care Society in Nablus by supplying the park with gaming toys, shades, and flooring to make it more child-friendly play area, especially that it is the only breathing space available for the children living in the Society.

Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of NBC, said he was delighted that the project has been completed, and the Society’s needs have been satisfied by providing a safe environment for the children in the Society, which embodies the vision and goals of NBC in supporting the various groups of the community, including the marginalized groups.  He affirmed NBC’s commitment to support the institutions which sponsor this group of the people in our society.

Mr. al-Hindi said: “providing a decent life for the children of the Society is our responsibility toward this group”. He called upon other private and civil society organizations to take various types of opportunities to lend a helping hand to those children and to meet their needs.

Mr. al-Hindi commended the efforts exerted by the Mother Guidance & Child Care Society and its humanitarian role toward the children residing in the Society, by providing a friendly environment, and excellent and variable programs for the orphaned kids, while focusing on the physical and psychological healthcare in a manner to protect and uphold their dignity.

On her part, Mrs. Hayat Al-Buz, Director of the Society, extended heartfelt thanks to NBC for supporting the restoration of the park and for providing the necessary toys for the orphaned children. She noted that the Society is one of the oldest and longest-standing societies in Nablus since its establishment back in 1922 by a group of women who are pioneers in the voluntary action to assist women in various fields. Al-Buz added that hopefully NBC and other institutions will continue supporting the Society so that it can perform its duty toward the local community.
