National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy sponsors Ramadan Iftar meals for 670 Orphans

Ramallah-Alhaya Economic- The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) sponsored a number of Ramadan Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan which were organized for the orphan children in cooperation with 5 charitable societies in the West Bank and Gaza. NBC’s staff distributed packages of special giveaways to the children.
A number of NBC’s managers and staff shared Ramadan Iftars with 670 orphan children, including 130 from the Charitable Society for Orphans and the Needy at Jericho, 220 children from Hasad El-Kheir Society for Orphans and Mabarat El Rahma in Gaza, 160 children from Tubas Women’s Society, and 160 children from the Islamic Charitable Society- Hebron.
Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of NBC, said that NBC’s Management and staff are pleased to share the Ramadan Iftars with the orphan children hoping to spread the spirit of hope and give the children a family atmosphere, especially during the honourable month of Ramadan. He added that such initiative complements the activities performed by NBC which is committed to fulfil its responsibilities toward the society. Mr. al-Hindi affirmed that NBC is keen to support every organization or institution that serves the Palestinian children, especially the less privileged children, and provides them with the educational and humanitarian needs.
Mr. al-Hindi valued the efforts of the five charitable societies. He emphasized the importance of supporting the philanthropic and charitable societies which care for the orphans in the West Bank and Gaza Strip due to the important actions they take such as embracing of the children and providing them with psychological and morale support which contributes to the healthy upbringing of such children which is very close to the normal family upbringing and consequently build the better future they deserve.


On their part, the managers and representatives of the societies benefiting from the Ramadan Iftar banquettes stressed the importance of NBC’s generous gestures to the charitable societies which work on the welfare of the orphans. They also valued NBC’s cooperation to deliver the iftars which filled the children’s hearts with joy, happiness, and affection. They called upon the private organizations to take after the important social role performed by NBC toward the Palestinian children and youth.
