National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy renews its sponsorship for First Sareyyet Ramallah Female Football Team




Ramallah-The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) and the First Sareyyet Ramallah recently signed an agreement whereby the NBC will renew its sponsorship of the First Sareyyet Ramallah Female Football Team for the fifth consecutive year in Ramallah. NBC General Manager, Mr. Imad al Hindi and the Chairman of First Sareyyet Ramallah, Mr. Fayeq Khouri signed the agreement in the presence of Alaa Esawi of NBC, Khalid Elyyan, Manager of the Sareyyet and a delegation representing the First Sareyyet Ramallah. The signature ceremony took place at the new headquarters of NBC in Baitunia, south Ramallah.
 
NBC General Manager confirmed that NBC has endeavored since inception to support sports in Palestine, namely women's sports along with NBC’s support to all different Palestinian clubs and teams, especially when competing in national and international championships.  Mr. al Hindi stressed the Company’s commitment and persistent pursuit, using all its resources, to support the Sports Sector to promote the position of the Palestinian sports on the regional and international map, especially that the Palestinian sports institutions have already succeeded in building the capacity of the players who possess high competitive world capabilities.
 
 Mr. al Hindi pointed out that: "NBC, since inception, has paid more attention to women's sports as we are keen to contribute to the development of women's journey in the football game as well as other types of sports.  The Palestinian women proved to be qualified enough in this particular field by demonstrating high skills and capabilities inside and outside Palestine.  The First Sarreyet Ramallah serves the model of Palestinian women who are quite capable to practice football professionally".  In the same context, Mr. al Hindi expressed NBC’s pride in constant partnership with the First Sarreyet Ramallah, which has persistently worked on advancing women's sports forward.  He expressed his hopes to sustain such partnership between the two parties in helping women in their journey towards professionalism.
     
On his part, Mr. Khouri commended the role of NBC in supporting the Sports Sector, particularly young women.  He explained that such support stands as a moral motive for the team to work hard on improving their capabilities. In addition, Mr. Khouri extended thanks to NBC for its constant assistance to the Team, well-known for its many achievements and for overcoming obstacles and social challenges".

 

It is worth mentioning that that NBC has sponsored the First Sarreyet Ramallah Women Football Team since 2010 as one of the best women football teams across Palestine, winning several championships inside Palestine and the region.
