National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy donates a generator to the Civil Defense Directorate in Ramallah
Ramallah - Al-Ayyam : The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy donated a 30-kv electric generator to the Civil Defense Directorate in Ramallah and Al Bireh Governorate.
The generator was delivered in the presence of both Alaa Esawi, representative of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC) and Murad Shubaita, Director General of the Civil Defense Directorate in the cities of Ramallah and Al Bireh.
Al-Esawi explained that the donation was a contribution by the NBC to support the efforts of the Civil Defense teams in completing tasks associated with rescue and public safety, and to perform their duty to the fullest towards the citizens in times of disaster, especially with the approaching season of winter and weather depressions .
Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of the National Beverages Company Coca-Cola/Cappy confirmed that the Company has been aware of the importance of contribution to the support of national institutions to carry out their duties towards the citizens. Therefore, we provided this donation in line with our objectives and to perform our national and humanitarian duty to join forces with the Palestinian Civil Defense efforts. Mr. al-Hindi expressed his pride of the presence of a brave and noble team who love their country & people such as the team of the Palestinian Civil Defense, who demonstrated incomparable courage and high responsibility at times of crisis to mitigate the suffering of the citizens, minimize their losses and achieve their safety and security.
On his part, Shubaita extended his thanks and appreciation to NBC for the donation of the generator, which would help the work of the civil defense to provide the best services to the Palestinian citizens, protect them and their properties. He explained that the Palestinian Civil Defense have set its priorities from inception and worked hardly to implement them by relying on qualified and well trained human resources capable of assuring the citizens and enhance their feeling of safety and security.
He commended the role of the Civil Defense teams, who demonstrated the highest examples of sacrifice during times of disaster and crisis to achieve safety and security for the citizens.
