National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy begins celebrations of the 15th anniversary of its launch

Ramallah – Al-Hayat Economic - The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy announced begin celebrations of the 15th anniversary of its launch, underlining the Company's continuous success despite the challenges of the Palestinian economy. The activities of the celebration on this occasion include World Cup Trophy in coordination with the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) and in cooperation with the Global Coca-Cola. The World Cup Trophy will start a tour around the Arab world at the beginning of November, and Palestine will be the first station. The Company was keen to ensure that the celebrations will be focused on meeting the needs of youngsters. Therefore, the Company will provide an opportunity for about 2,000 people from the Palestinian universities, the local football teams and the local media to get a personal picture with the world Cup teams group.
Mr. Manhal Malki, Sales and Marketing Manager at the Company, explained that the mechanism for the selection of the 2000 participants will be made by a special draw system and a dedicated working team. Whoever wishes to obtain this opportunity should visit the Company's website (www.nbc-pal.com) or the Company's page on the Facebook, and should register his quartet name and place of stay. Then, the competent team will follow up the names of the winners and coordinate with them to attend the celebrations.
In his comments on this occasion, Mr. Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy said: “We in NBC have strived to ensure that Palestine is first station in the World Cup Trophy in the Arab world to confirm that Palestine is our permanent address and to drew the attention of the world media to the successes of the Palestinian economy in spite of the huge challenges experienced by the local Palestinian companies, including NBC.”
Al-Hindi added, “That this occasion is not only a special one for the management and employees of the Company, but an occasion that deserves to be celebrated by the citizens whose first choice was our products. Without the support of citizens, we would not now be celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of the Company's success.”
Mr. al-Hindi concluded his comment saying, “We have always strived to offer our products with the highest quality specifications and up to the international standards because we believe that the Palestinian consumer is no different from any consumer elsewhere in the world.  Hence, we adopted the idea of ​​ involving the World Cup in our celebrations because the NBC always compete at the global level.  We are also celebrating our successes with a global touch.”
It is noteworthy that the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy was established in 1998 by a group of Palestinian businessmen. The Company produces a range of refreshment drinks and natural juices under the name “Cappy”, and the mineral water “Arwa” and “Jericho”, in addition to packaging the soft drinks of Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta.
