National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy Welcomes School and University Delegates and Football Players to take Historical Photos




The World Cup Inflames Palestinian Excitement
 
 
Betunia: The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy welcomed a delegation of Palestinian private and public school pupils as well as university students and football players at its new headquarters in Al-Balooa area of Betunia.  All attendees were offered a photo with the World Cup Trophy in addition to souvenir gifts.
 
Universities and schools from different cities and suburbs of the West Bank participated in the Company’s celebrations of its fifteen years since its establishment and the first time for the World Cup to be present in Palestine.
 
On this occasion, Imad al-Hindi, General Manager of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy expressed his hope that the students would enjoy the great and unique opportunity, urging them to constantly work against the odds in order to make something out of their lives.  Hence, Al-Hindi stressed that the aim of NBC’s invitation to schools, universities and football teams was to get students and athletes involved in this great event, both to mark the Company’s fifteenth year in business and celebrate the presence of the World Cup.
 
Al-Hindi added that, “We at the NBC constantly seek to ensure that to confirm to whole world that our next generation will be more informed and creative in the various areas of the market.  We have also endeavored to involve them at their early study stages in the Palestinian labour market and its achievement in order to gain background not only on the Palestinian market, but also the global markets, more generally”.
 
This event has added more will and determination among the majority of the students participating in the event of the day, particularly Walid Attia, a student at Al-Najah University who said, “I believed that seeing the World Cup was something impossible until this moment; we are here today next to the World Cup and my friends to celebrate together the success of the NBC in achieving the impossible”.   On the other hand, a girl student at Dar Al Muallimeen, Anhar Hamdan said that, “The feeling of the World Cup is somewhat removed from Palestinians; however we hope that the Palestinian team can participate in its championships.   With respect to the NBC, all I can do is to thank them.  Indeed, from the time of my childhood until now, I have only seen its continued success”.
 
On this occasion, Ala’ Nayef, a student from the Khadouri University added that, “The NBC’s new building reflects the extent of their interest in details.   It is extremely well done and has used the latest styles.  I am proud of the nationalism of this Company and I thank them for their invitation today and for allowing us to share the Company’s pride of its continued success since fifteen years ago.”
